The Democracy Watch Gambia (DWG) as a pro democracy and rule of law advocacy group comprises of:
A Political affairs advocacy group and a Constitutional affairs advocacy group.
The DWG through the above advocacy groups seek to:
Argue in favour of and to strengthen a secular multi party democracy and democratic institutions in the Gambia.
Advocate for adherence to the rule of law and challenge all democratic excessess.
Inform and educate on matters relating to the above mentioned; governance matters and Gambian politics in general.
Offer alternative proposals and suggestions in order to influence government policy on a wide range of subjects.
