Democracy Watch Gambia (DWG) is a pro democracy and rule of law advocacy group.
Established in February, 2017, following the birth of the 3rd Republic of The Gambia. It has no party political leanings and welcomes membership and support from all Gambians and friends of The Gambia.
We are a civil society organisation formed by a group of Gambians in a bid to strengthen and consolidate Democracy.

In light of the heated debate which has been prompted by the omission of the word “secular” from the draft Constitution by the Constitutional Review Commission (CRC), I feel obliged to share my thoughts on the subject matter.
